Email Dr. Rubin to make arrangements to rotate with the Neurosonology lab.
During your rotation you will be expected to:
- attend vascular neurosonology didactic sessions
- accompany the daytime sonographer to the hospital and clinic to discuss and observe instrumentation and technique of transcranial Doppler (TCD) and carotid duplex ultrasonography (CUS)
- after a period of observation, practice technique with TCD and CUS
- accompany Dr. Rubin for interpretation of TCD and CUS
- after a period of observation, provide initial interpretation of TCD and CUS
- read assigned neurosonology texts
